Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is born June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora or sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval by music blogs and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are two of the best covers of the artist. It was further recognized thanks to a Facebook post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the track Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in her attic, and discovering the music it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to take up music as an activity or profession. Therefore, she created with her own music. Her inspirations include famous writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. When her mother told her that her music could be a catalyst for her to gain popularity, but also help everyone else see their value on the planet and realise the possibilities for her songs, she opted to make a public debut. The piano was first played by her when she was only six and started writing songs when she was nine. She didn't tell her family about it until she turned 14. Aurora was not a goal. As she says, she just likes to write songs. Music to her is the ideal way to be able to feel any emotion.
